The Pearce grip extension for the SA XD45 fit the magazine perfectly. Installation was very easy and Pearce did a great job simulating the checkering SA uses on the front strap. The new base pad did not affect function of the magazine in any way. I rate this product a 5 star.
Functionally I ended up removing the extension as it made the compact "print" much more than I though it would. It also made the gun uncomfortable for IWB carry as it dug into my side when sitting. Not an issue with the product but relevant should you be looking to add some grip to your daily carry.
